Allowed Materials vs. Do not Allowed
Accepted Materials
- Construction Debris - drywall, studs, sheetrock, plywood, wiring, wood, pipes, insulation, cabinets, carpet, flooring, counter tops, fencing, PVC, carpet and padding.
- Household Items - furniture, mattresses, clothing, toys, books, cardboard boxes and junk.
- Green Waste - trees, shrubs, leaves, sod, mulch, branches, grass and bush trimmings.
- General Clean-up - garbage, bikes, toys, lawn mowers, storage sheds, hot tubs and furniture.
- Heavy Materials - Dirt, Rocks, Asphalt, Concrete, Stucco, fill and top-soil.
- Roofing Materials - roof tiles, shingles, gutters, underlayment and flashing.
- Appliances - refrigerators, freezers, TVs, computers, computer monitors, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves and metal appliances (we handle freon removal).
- Tires - Tires of different make and sizes (additional charge).
- Glass and Plastics - Glass materials and plastics (not containing liquids).
Prohibited Items
- Wet or residential waste.
- Chemically treated wood - railroad ties, pressure treated wood.
- Propane tanks - propane bottles, tanks, cylinders.
- Biohazards & medical waste - sharps (needles, scalpels) prescription drugs, etc.
- Lighting - mercury thermostats, fluorescent lights.
- Batteries: car batteries, lithium batteries, lead acid batteries
- Liquid chemicals - paint, antifreeze, oil or oil containers.
- Automotive fluids: oil, oil filters, anti-freeze, gasoline
- Hazardous materials: chemicals, pesticides, fertilizers
- Medical waste: needles, medications, biological waste
- Flammable materials: liquids, solvents, or glue
- Paint: wet paint cans and sprays
- Asbestos: requires specialized disposal
Prohibited items are not permitted in landfills or our containers. If you have any of these items and wish to dispose of them, please ask us the best way to do so as we may be able to make arrangements to still take them.
